中共中央、、中央军委2025年7月7日至8日在山西考察时强调，山西要努力在推动资源型经济转型发展上迈出新步伐，奋力谱写三晋大地推进中国式现代化新篇章。

President Xi Jinping has called on north China's Shanxi Province to further promote the transformation and development of the resource-based economy and strive to write its own chapter in advancing Chinese modernization. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during his inspection tour in Shanxi from July 7 to July 8, 2025.

建设国家资源型经济转型综合配套改革试验区是党中央交给山西的一项战略任务，要进一步统一思想，保持定力，坚定有序推进转型发展。重点要抓好能源转型、产业升级和适度多元发展。

Building a national pilot area of comprehensive reform for the transformation of the resource-based economy is a strategic task entrusted to Shanxi by the CPC Central Committee. It is necessary to further unify thinking, maintain resolve and steadfastly promote transformation and development in an orderly manner, with focus being placed on energy transition, industrial upgrading and moderately diversified development.

落实好能源革命综合改革试点要求，持续推动产业结构调整优化，实施一批变革性、牵引性、标志性举措，大力加强科技创新，在新基建、新技术、新材料、新装备、新产品、新业态上不断取得突破。

Continuous efforts should be made to promote the adjustment and optimization of China's industrial structure under the guidance of pilot reform policies in the energy industry, implementing a series of innovative, leading and landmark measures. At the same time, scientific and technological innovations should be greatly enhanced to continue achieving breakthroughs in new infrastructure, technology, materials, equipment as well as new products and business models.
